What new technologies are being used at NTEA?

Your endodontic therapy at NTEA is more comfortable and more successful because of innovative dental technologies and treatments like these:

Dental Cyberspace

Our new, state-of-the-art, endodontic computer software allows us to communicate with you and your referring dentists office through highly protected, fully encrypted, internet communication.

Your registration data can be safely entered into your digital patient record by simply logging onto our website and filling out your registration forms. Digital preregistration allows us to be an environmentally friendly "paperless" office, and allows you to save time by preregistering in the comfort of your home or office.

At the completion of your office visit, a summery letter and your digital X Rays can be electronically transmitted to your referring dentists office almost before you leave our office.

Digital Radiography

Digital radiography is an advanced non-film computerized system used for taking x-rays. Digital Radiographic procedures produce approximately 90% less exposure than the already low dose conventional dental x-ray machines. The digital images can be optimized, archived, printed and sent to your referring doctor.

Comfort Control

Keeping you comfortable during your treatment is one of our top priorities. That’s why we’ve invested in a new anesthetic delivery system called the Comfort Control Syringe.

Operating Microscopes & Microsurgical Instruments

Endodontic microsurgery is performed using a sophisticated operating microscope and microsurgical instruments. The increased magnification and illumination greatly improves diagnostic capabilities and the preciseness of surgical procedures. Surgical trauma is also reduced, as a result your post–surgical recovery period will be quicker

Video Camera

A tiny video camera on the operating microscope can record images of your tooth to further document the doctor’s findings.

Apex Locator

An advanced instrument used to precisely locate the end of the root canal during instrumentation.

Ultrasonic

An instrument used to dislodge post and broken instruments acquired in previous restorative or endodontic treatment.

Please feel free to ask if you have any questions about any of the equipment or techniques that we use.
