NTEA Offers “Hands On” Endo Course

On Friday July 15th the doctors and staff of NTEA offered a course for restorative dentists that do some endodontic procedures in their practices. The title of the daylong course was "Cleaning and Shaping of the Root Canal System: A Hands On Course."

The morning session consisted of lectures from Doctors Small, Reagan, and Witherspoon. Topics presented included diagnosis, documentation, informed consent, as well as current concepts on the principles of cleaning, shaping and three-dimensional obturation of the canal system.

The afternoon session consisted of hands on training under the supervision of the NTEA Doctors. Each participating dentist had a completely outfitted workstation along with extracted teeth on which to practice.

We are very thankful for the support of Tulsa Dental, Zeiss, and Dexis Corporations for their support in providing instruments, microscopes, and digital imaging that greatly enhanced each participants learning experience.

We are currently planning future Hands On courses. If you would be interested in participating in a future course, please contact us by email at info@ntendo.com or call 972-596-9400 to reserve a place for our next course. Due to nature of the course, we are limited to a maximum of twelve dentists.

Seven hours of continuing education credit is offered with the course.
